High maintenance things I do to stay low maintenance

The way I see it I’ll have the rest of my life to go get a fancy hot towel pedicure, but I’ll only have a newborn for six more weeks. And I don’t want to miss out on any of her moments. That being said self care is so key for me, so I’ve been doing my high maintenance to stay low maintenance upkeep from home.

Daily: gua sha lymphatic drainage massages and facial manipulation, cold plunge face in bowl of ice, hydrocolloid pimple patches as spot treatment, frownies on my forehead, mouth tape before bed, devotional, guided mediation, a long walk.

Weekly: at home regular pedicure

Every two weeks: gel manicure without touching the cuticle. Derma-plane peach fuzz at home.

Once a month: Russian gel manicure, henna dyed and threaded eyebrows

Every three months: lash lift and tint, full extraction facial.
