Birth Story
When asked my birth plan I was jokingly answering “not die.” A little comedic relief as labor and delivery has always been a big fear of mine. Looking back at the birth of our daughter, I see God’s hand throughout it all. I was aiming for an all natural delivery, but once I felt real contractions that changed. After receiving my epidural and progressing I pushed for a while to no avail and that is when we decided to have a cesarean delivery. This was something in the back of my mind, but it wasn’t as bad as the movies make it seem #iykyk. Our beautiful daughter was brought into this world healthy and happy and we are so smitten. This bond is something only a parent can understand and I am overjoyed to share what we learn along the way. I know this is quite literally only the beginning, and I have strong faith that the best is yet to come.
with love,
Victoria
