New year, Same intentions

There is something about January first that makes us all want to start all over. Lucky for me, I love what I have created in my life and only intend to build on last year’s foundation in this new year. I am so grateful to live a life I do not need a vacation from; and although I have many more Pinterest cliches than where that one came from, I digress: what you are not changing, you are accepting. I accept my flaws because they are what inspire me to progress in every aspect. In the words of Taylor Swift, “Honey, without all the exes, fights, and flaws
We wouldn't be standing here so tall.”

I figuratively feel tall, but more than that hopeful and grateful to see what comes this year, because the rest is still unwritten.
