I feel like I am a lifestyle blog more than anything these days and I’ve fully accepted it. Fashion is still on my mind as always, but I don’t exactly feel like writing motivating other people to shop with the current state of the world being what it is. Nevertheless, I have learned a lot about myself lately through self-reflection and there are some valuable lessons worth sharing.
It is essential to make the goals that are right for you.
The first thing I have learned relates to time and goal setting, and this quote sums it up.
Rome Wasn’t Built in a Day, But They Were Laying Bricks Every Hour
Success is in no terms a linear pathway and I feel extremely confident in where I’m at and where I’m going with that in mind.
Perfume and jewelry make a huge difference.
And for this reason I have continued to layer my favorite scents and stack my bracelets every day during quarantine.
Comparison is a thief of joy.
Perusing the internet on the daily has made it so easy for me to compare my journey to other people’s and I know we’ve all been there. Sometimes it seems like there’s always another person you think is better off. I’ve learned to stop comparing someone else’s page 100 to my page 1.
There is true beauty in daily routines.
I have fallen in love with my morning coffee, afternoon strolls, and laying out in the sun. The little things are really what make a big difference, and in uncertain times knowing an iced almond milk latte is waiting for me every day at 9 AM is extremely comforting.
Family >
I’ve never appreciated my family more than I have during this time in quarantine. Each member of my home is a treasure to me and we’ve all been able to spend so much quality time and special moments together that I will forever cherish.
