
Every now and then I need a litte pick me up, whether it’s something to do/ watch/ read these things help lighten my mood instantly no matter what.
- Going outside
First and foremost, cause she’s an important one. Experts agree that nature not only calms us but also makes us happier! Go figure.
- Spending time with someone you love
IDK if this is a me thing but especially in quarantine, if I am alone too much of the day I start to get a little down. Being with family uplifts my spirits instantly and I’d highly recommend trying this one out the next time you feel alone, especially if you are self-isolating.
- Aromatherapy
Basically a fancy word for good smells. Lighting a scented candle (soy of course!!) or diffusing oils like lavender and peppermint make me feel so relaxing and honestly are something the little boost I need to stay concentrated.
- Inspiring Quotes
This one is all about Pinterest for me. Pinterest has really just been a manifestation app for me lately, and I love reading inspiring words and saving motivational quotes.
- Chocolate
Ok don’t come for me this one’s actually science. More specifically dark chocolate has serotonin and stimulates our endorphin levels (YAY all around for that.)
- Wear a piece of clothing you love
Especially something soft and cozy, this always makes me feel like I’m on cloud nine.
