
It’s not secret I am a self-care queen,
and huge advocate of anything in that realm of things.
With more time at home these days I have been into a couple of lavish rituals that make me feel relaxed and super pampered.
– Light a Candle
Seems small, but this sets the vibe, and I am huge into scents right now. I currently have the most delicious Rose Ganache candle on rotation, but have also been loving peppermint, rose, and chai essential oils in my diffuser.
– Change into Loungewear
Being comfortable is essential for my self-care moments. I love anything satin, or 100% cotton that is breathable and the epitome of comfort.
– Amp up your Skincare
My regular routine is usually amped up on a self-care day by a vitamin c face mask or an ice facial. I’ve recently dabbled in lymphatic drainage massage as well as gua shua- total game changer.
– Play Relaxing Music
Bossa Nova for me, but any relaxing music of your choice to give you even more of a serene vibe at home is a go-to.
– Give yourself an at-home Manicure
Super self-explanatory but nothing makes me feel more pampered than doing my nails.
– Show you Hair some Love
Wash, and deep condition, scalp massages are a must. If it’s not a hair wash day, braiding my hair makes me feel pampered too.
– Nourish your Skin
I have been using coconut oil to moisturize my skin and I continue to reach for it because I have peace of mind knowing it is completely clean beauty.
